GAVAR, MAY 24, NOYAN TAPAN. The mini football tournament of Gavar Mayor's cup was held for the first time with participation of teams of 8 institutions of the regional center. As Khachik Hakobian, Head of the Sport Department of Gavar Mayor's Office, said in his interview to Noyan Tapan, the tournament held by 7 tours was tense. The team of the Mayor's Office took the first place in the tournament that lasted 10 days. This team was given the challenge cup. The best bombardier and the best goal-keeper also received monetary prizes and diplomas. According to Gavar Mayor Gurgen Martirosian who initiated the tournament, such sport events will become traditional.
