TWO-DAY COURSES ORGANIZED FOR PROSECUTORS AND INVESTIGATORS
WITH ASSISTANCE OF OSCE YEREVAN OFFICE AND DIHRO

YEREVAN, MAY 6, NOYAN TAPAN. Two-day courses "How to FIght
against Sexual Violence" for Armenian prosecutors and
investigators finished on May 4. The courses were organized by
the OSCE Yerevan Office, the OSCE Democratic Institutions and
Human Rights Office (DIHRO) and the Scientific and Educational
Center of the Office of the RA Prosecutor General. The
participants discussed problems of prevention and prosecution of
sexual crimes, as well as issues related to family violence,
violent actions against children and human trafficking. The
courses were conducted by a group of experts from the US and
Australia.
Expressing his appreciation for close cooperation with the
OSCE, Deputy Director of the Scientific and Educational Center
Tatul Badasian underlined the importance of experience exchange
in this sphere.
