YEREVAN, JANUARY 20, NOYAN TAPAN. Inhabitants of the Busand street appeared in the building zone of the Kentron community of Yerevan as well as leaseholders of the Dalma gardens near the Yerevan Lake (Yerevanian Litch) organized a regular demonstration at the RA Government's building on January 19. The Buzand street is at present completely free of inhabitation who refused to leave their houses up to that moment. According to them, the monetary compensation proposed by the Yerevan Mayor's Office isn't enough to buy a new flat. Inhabitants consider the Government's decision on selling the territory for building as anti-constitutional one as in the given case, no building is implemented "for state needs." Leaseholders of the Dalma gardens also consider illegal the Government's decisions to take back from them the above-mentioned territories of 256 hectares. The leaseholders demand to refresh their lease contracts.
