YEREVAN, DECEMBER 29, NOYAN TAPAN. The 15th anniversary of RA Social Insurance State Fund's foundation will be marked in 2006. On that occasion an international conference dedicated to the pension insurance problems will be organized in Armenia jointly with the International Insurance company. The fund's Chairman Vazgen Khachikian informed the reporters about this on December 28. He stated that the fund is carrying out reforms today, particularly, a system of individual (personified) accounting is being introduced. V.Khachikian stated, that the employers must open individual accounts for their employees in the fund's territorial centers and inform the fund about the amount of social payment made for each employee. According to him, as of December 22, 510 thousand bids were submitted to the fund's regional subdivisions by 31 thousand insurants for the purpose of opening accounts, and 270 thousand individual accounts are submitted by 15 thousand insurants annually.
