YEREVAN, OCTOBER 27, NOYAN TAPAN. At the October 26 morning sitting, the RA NA adopted drafts discussed on the previous day including 4 drafts amd legislative packages concerning the social sphere. Particularly, the draft on making amendments to the law "On Great Patriotic War Veterans" was adopted in the second reading and completely. According to this, it is fixed that the size of monthly honour payments may not be less than 10 thousand drams starting from January 1, 2006. At present this made 4500 drams. Amendments and additions were made in the first reading in the laws on "State Pensions" and "Social Security of Servicemen and Their Family Members." According to them, the size of pensions defined for invalids and of ordinary servicemen became invalid or of families of servicemen died while participating in martual actions defending the RA as well as implementing service duties are raised by 20% starting from January 1, 2006. The legislative package on making amendments and additions to the law "On Compulsory Social Insurance Payments" was also adopted in the first reading. According to this, particularly, the size of a minimal social payment paid by the employer is added: 7 thousand drams are fixed instead of 5 thousand acting at present. This will be spread on up to 20 thousand salary and incomes equal to that. In the case of from 20 thousand to 100 thousand drams salary, the size of social insurance payment will make 7 thousand drams plus 15% of sum overpassing 20 thousand drams, in the case of more than 100 thousand drams, this will make 19 thousand drams plus 5% of sum overpassing 100 thousand drams.
