YEREVAN, OCTOBER 25, NOYAN TAPAN. The 5th Dentists' International All Armenian Gathering held in Yerevan on October 24-26 is dedicated to the 10th foundation anniversary of the Armenian Dental Association. More than 3 dozens of professional reports dedicated to modern problems of stomatology are presented at the gathering in which representatives of 14 countries including Russia, Ukraine, Georgia participate. Norayr Davidian, the RA Health Care Minister mentioned that the role of the Armenian Dental Association is great in the affair of development of that service in the country. According to him, having a great scientific potential, the association assists youth scientists as well. 4 members of the association were awarded the Minister's letters of thanks. As Ashot Gevorgian, the Chairman of the Armenian Dental Association mentioned, the association which has more than 600 members from Yerevan, different marzes and Diaspora, is a member of the European Regional Organization. According to him, a decision will be made by a preliminary vote in Athens this year, and by a final one in Portugal the next year for the plenary sitting of the European Regional Organization takes place in Yerevan in 2007.
