YEREVAN, OCTOBER 4, NOYAN TAPAN. Official delegations of 11 cities of a number of countries, including ones from Moscow, Rostov na Donu, Stavropol, Tbilisi, Florence, will arrive in Yerevan to participate in the "Day of Yerevan" celebration on October 8-9. As David Gevorgian, the Cheif of the Foreign Ties and Information Department of the Yerevan Mayor's Office stated at the October 3 press-conference, the Moscow delegation will be headed by Mayor Yuri Luzhkov whose visit is conditioned by the "Days of Moscow" being organized in Yerevan as well. He will participate in the ceremony of placing the foundation stone of the Moscow House in Yerevan as well. D.Gevorgian also stated that Yervand Zakharian, the Mayor of Yerevan and Anatoly Chernishov, the Mayor of Rostov na Donu will sign a memorandum on fraternization of the two cities.
