KISHINEV, JUNE 22, NOYAN TAPAN. Grand master Lilit
Mkrtchian plays most successfully among the 4 representatives of
Armenia at the chess-players' women personal championship of
Europe. During the regular 9th round she won Nina Dzagnidze, a
Georgian chess-player, gained 6.5 points and now when there
are three rounds before the end of the championship she shares
from the 3rd to 12th places. Yelena Zayats and Nadedzda
Osintseva, two representatives of Russia, who have 7 points
each, are the leaders of the competitions going on in Kishinev.
Elina Danielian, another grand master representing Armenia
played a drawn game during the 9th round. She gained 6 points
and now shares the 13th-27th places. International masters Lilit
Galoyan and Siranush Andreasian, other two chess-players of
Armenia have correspondingly 4.5 and 4 points and are on the
68th and 101th places.
