YEREVAN, October 27 (Noyan Tapan). The first personal exhibition of Larisa Katasanova's photos opened at the picture-gallery of the Academy of Arts on October 26. The works of the photo-artist were displayed at several group exhibitions, besides that, in 2001, she participated in the exhibition of Venetian Biennale held at the Center of Innovative Experimental Art. According to her colleagues, artistic talent and the technique of the author is observed in Larisa's works. The author's original world outlook and thoughts of life are presented in her works. It was noticed at the opening of the exhibition that ordinary thinks, which pass unnoticed by many people, acquire particular significance and coloration in her works, positively influencing the lookers. "The philosophy of the world perceived by me which has turned into images via photo-camera is in these photo-works," said Katasanova. According to her, the world and nature are opened afresh in her works. She thinks that they, undergoing the various tests of time, are, nevertheless, beautiful and inexplicable.
