YEREVAN, June 7 (Noyan Tapan). The US Embassy in Armenia and the "Renascence" Chamber Ensemble Foundation organized the contest of young pianists dedicated to the 100th birthday of famous pianist Vladimir Goroviza. The contest is held in Yerevan on June 2-8. Two age groups participate in the contest: participants aged 13-16 and 17-20. They represent musical schools and establishments of Yerevan. A gala-concert and a prize awarding ceremony will be held at the House of Chamber Music after Komitas on June 14.
