Azeri Foreign Affairs Ministry representative Polukhov issued the following statement in response to the announcement by Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan in regard to the Azeri diversion group’s attempt to invade the NKR territory yesterday. “There is a sharp military conflict and such clashes go to show that the Azeri side will never come to grips with the occupation of its territories. Today there is an opportunity to put an end to such armed clashes, if the Armenian side sits around the table of negotiations and continues constructive efforts to implement the principles established in the updated Madrid Principles. These cases show that the conflict is not frozen.”
