ATHENS, 18 MAY, NOYAN TAPAN-ARMENIANS TODAY: Turkish Prime Minister Receb Tayyib Erdogan paid a two-day official visit to Athens with the accompaniment of 10 ministers and a 320-member representative delegation. The Turkish Prime Minister was greeted with protests by the ARF's Armenian National Committee of Greece, as well as representatives of Kurdish, Cypriot and Greek organizations. The Armenian National Committee of Greece held a demand protest and a march toward the Turkish Embassy. The Turkish Prime Minister's visit to Greece sets the stage for new developments in Turkish-Greek relations. As reported by "Milliyet", Turkey's State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, former Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Babacan has announced that Ankara is currently working on implementing the Turkey-Armenia Protocols signed in Zurich.
