On 25-26 October 2012 Yerevan State University will host Swedish-Armenian Contact Seminar, which aims to create a platform for cooperation between Swedish and Armenian universities through EU Tempus and Erasmus Mundus programmes and Swedish Lineus Palme programme. The event will be a great opportunity for exchange of experience, enhancement of cooperation and networking. The event will be organized by International Programme Office for Education and Training, Sweden, and National Tempus Office in Armenia. The event will be attended by 32 representatives from Sweden, of which 28 from higher education institutions, and 56 representatives from Armenian higher education institutions. The seminar will begin on 25 October (Alex Manoogian 1, Main Building, 5th Floor, Conference Hall, at 09:30) with a plenary session. During the first part of the session Armenian and Swedish higher education systems will be presented; discussions will be lead on Tempus, Erasmus Mundus and Lineus Palme programmes. The second part of the session will be devoted to cooperation and networking. The event of 26 October will be dedicated to individual or group discussions at Armenian universities. Swedish colleagues will visit their counterparts’ universities to strengthen bilateral cooperation and to have more in-depth discussions on project proposals.
