Today, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to the Republic of Armenia Lukas Gasser presented his credentials to Serzh Sargsyan.
The President of Armenia congratulated the Swiss Ambassador on his appointment and wished success in his diplomatic mission in our country. According to Serzh Sargsyan, Armenia attaches great importance to the mutually beneficial continued cooperation with the friendly Switzerland in all areas, in bilateral as well as multilateral formats and is ready to undertake steps to further deepen the cooperation.
The parties spoke with satisfaction about the high-level interstate relations established between Armenia and Switzerland which in recent years have been developing through the reciprocal visits and cooperation in various international settings.
At the meeting, President Serzh Sargsyan and Ambassador Lucas Gasser also exchanged views related to the regional issues.
