President Serzh Sargsyan received the representatives of the Bankers Club

President Serzh Sargsyan received today representatives of the Bankers Club of the Central/National Banks from Central Asia, Black Sea area and Balkan states, who have arrived to Armenia on the occasion of the 30th meeting of the Club which is conducted in the framework of the events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the RA Armenian Dram.
“The Club’s continuous and coordinated work can make a solid contribution to the financial stability of our countries and economic development. Meetings such as this one, also provide a good opportunity to familiarize with the member states, history and culture of their people, which in turn can have a positive impact on strengthening the cooperation,” President Serzh Sargsyan said.
With the Governors of the Central Banks, the President spoke also about the financial and banking system of Armenia and economy in general. He also inquired about the current situation with the financial and banking systems of the member states, challenges existing in the global economy and expert opinion of the participants on addressing them.
