On October 31 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian paid a working visit to Berlin.
During the visit Edward Nalbandian had a meeting with his German counterpart Guido Westerwelle, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany.
Greeting Edward Nalbandian, Guido Westerwelle noted that Armenia and Germany have excellent relations and underlined that due to joint intensive efforts today the cooperation in different areas is on a high level.
;Germany as a true friend will continue supporting the development of Armenia”-emphasized Minister Westerwelle.
Minister Nalbandian stated with satisfaction that an active political dialogue has been established between the two countries which got a new impetus during the recent years. The cooperation in different areas has also been deepened and enhanced.The Ministers expressed confidence that due to collective active efforts the bilateral relations will experience a further development.Upon the request of the German Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian presented the recent developments in Nagorno-Karabakh peaceful resolution process and the efforts of Armenia and international community in this direction.Ministers also touched upon the Armenia-EU relations, cooperation in the framework of The Eastern Partnership initiative and discussed questions concerning the Vilnius Summit.
On the same day Edward Nalbandian had a meeting with Christoph Heusgen, Federal Chancellor;s Advisor on Foreign and Security Policy.
