On February 12 in the frames of 10-days events on the eve of Tiarndaraj Youth Foundation of Armenia hosted “Havatamq” spiritual centre of St Gregory the Illuminator Church, led by Lord Hakob Khachatryan the priest. In Foundation homeblessing ceremony was held, Christian symbols as bread and wine were blessed, and all this was distributed among the youth and the staff of the Foundation.

Lord Hakob Khachatryan the priest said that on the eve of Tiarndaraja number of events, named “Towards God, towards love” were organized, visitst to military units, orphanages, educational institutions were organized and the next destination was Youth Foundation of Armenia. “Visiting Youth Foundation is very important as this institution has its participation in church activity and  its mission. A church is not only a stone construction and clergymen. Church is alive, it is breathing with the help of its believers. The aim of cooperation with Youth Foundation of Armenia is to transfer spiritual and national knowledge to society”,- Lord HakobKhachatrayan the priest said.

The coordinator of the Board of Trustees of Youth Foundation of Armenia talked about the importance of  visit of “Havatamq” centre memberson the eve of Tiarndaraj, mentioning that the Foundation organizes various programs with the Armenian Apostolic Church, the participants of which become numerous student organizations and NGOs. “In jest I would like to say that recently the number of people backbiting Youth Foundation has increased and the homeblessing ceremony became necessity to push away such slanders and to spead a bit of kindness among wicked people by this church ceremony”,- Karen Avagyan said, exhorting all believer to make homeblessing ceremony a tradition and from time to time organize it both at homes and in different institutions.

Visiting each institution “Havatamq” centre members give a lamp, lighted at St Greagory the Illuminator Church and cross-stone and in such way to transfer hope and warmness that Jesus could bring to each Christian.

Homeblessing ceremony was accompanied by “Havatamq” choir performance.
