CAREER DAY FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS AT HSBC BANK

On April 16, Junior Achievement of Armenia and the HSBC Bank organized a career day for 15 students of Armavir, Kotayq and Yerevan at the Yerevan headquarters of HSBC bank.
The event took place as part of the activities of Junior Achievement’s program called MoreTthan Money. More Than Money is an international program implemented by Junior Achievement International with a grant from HSBC Holding Plc. The program is realized in more than 40 countries around the globe.
The classes are thought by teachers who have been trained by Junior Achievement of Armenia and by the staff of HSBC bank who volunteer their time. In the classroom, the students learn about economics, finances, as well as attain skills in creative thinking, earning and managing personal finances as well as making their career choices.
During the visit, the CEO of HSBC bank Mr. Thies Clementz discussed with the students HSBC bank’s corporate social responsibility policy, the structure and services offered and the future development plans of the bank.
