On May 12, an event dedicated to the May 9 Triple Holiday took place in the St. Mary Church in Washington.
A liturgy in memory of the soldiers-liberators perished at the Artsakh War was served in the church, after which the NKR Representation hosted a reception dedicated to the Triple Holiday.
NKR Permanent Representative to the USA Robert Avetisyan, RA Ambassador to the USA Tatoul Margarian, the Embassy's staff, clergymen, and members of the Armenian community participated in the event.
Robert Avetisyan and Tatoul Margarian delivered welcome speeches, emphasizing the importance of the liberation of Shushi in the national struggle of the people of Artsakh.
At the end of the event, a documentary film about Artsakh was shown.
