YEREVAN, APRIL 12, NOYAN TAPAN. The 10th convention of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) will be held in Yerevan on April 14. The 2009 summary report of UITE will be presented at the convention. Among other issues on the agenda are approval of amendments and additions to the regulations of UITE, as well as elections of UITE chairman and board members. According to a press release submitted to Noyan Tapan, opening speeches will be made by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Chairman of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia Arsen Ghazarian, and Chairman of UITE Hovhannes Avoyan. Some 150 heads and representatives of the Armenian government, ministries, departments, international organizations, companies of Armenia's ICT industry will participate in the convention.
