On 18 October Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan received famous Armenian composer Tigran Mansuryan and his sister, well-known opera singer Arax Mansuryan.
A number of issues related to the development of culture in Artsakh were discussed during the meeting.
The President rated high Tigran Mansuryan’s art, which had become a part of Armenian national and world heritage, adding that the Artsakh people showed special respect for his compositions.
Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, NKR minister of culture and youth affairs Narine Aghabalyan, Armenian National Assembly deputy, RA Honored Artist Shoushan Petrosyan partook in the meeting.
