The Fund “People of the World” presents the musical project “Ararat is the Witness” devoted to the 100th commemoration of the victims of the Armenian genocide in 1915.
The Project is a result of the joint work of the creative team of the Fund “People of the World” : including the author of the music and lyrics Ellina Samarina, the performer Edward Mher, the author of the idea and director of the video clip Serj Gabyan, producer Stefan Hekimyan and the manager of the project Anna Nazaruk.
The initiator of the project is the Fund for Supporting the Development of the Historical Cultural Heritage of Armenians “People of the World”, acting on the territory of the Russian Federation and other countries with the substantial communities of resident Armenians the Fund is pursuing the accomplishment of the mission of supporting the creation and maintenance of the positive image of Armenia and attracting worldwide attention to the valuable extensive social and cultural heritage created by Armenians residing all over the world.
The members of the Board of Trustees of the Fund are distinguished individuals: Arthur Chilingarov, Nikita Simonyan, Bagrat Alekyan, Frid Soghoyan, Nerses Oganesyan, Perch Khazanchyan, Iosiph Atabekov. The Fund is performing in sponsoring partnership of GoC “TASHIR”, GoC “NISCOM”, GoC ”LUDING”, TH “RANDEVOU”, GoC “RUSLAN-1”, holding “GAMART TRUBPLAST”, GoC “ARTSINVEST ” and others.
The music video clip “Ararat is the Witness” is called to remind once again and inform the global society of the unquenchable grief of the Armenian people for the historical injustice of the tragedy of the first genocide of the 20th century.
