Armenia to present impressive display at Shanghai Expo
"Better City, Better Life"

YEREVAN, MARCH 16, NOYAN TAPAN. An Armenian-Slovak business
forum will be held on March 18 during the official visit of
Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak to Armenia, and an
Armenian-Turkmenian business forum is scheduled to take place on
April 8-9 within the framework of the sitting of the
Armenian-Turkmenian intergovernmental commission. Besides, a
business forum with the participation of big investment companies
will be held in Armenia in May, during which various inmvestment
projects will be presented. Director of the Armenian Development
Agency (ADA) Robert Harutyunian made this announcement at the
March 16 press conference. In his words, such forums enable to
identify the opportunities of Armenia's cooperation with other
countries.
He said that a food exhibition would be organized in Abu
Dhabi in April, and work is now being done at ADA for the
creation of Armenia's pavilion. 15-20 Armenian companies have
expressed an intention to participate in the exhibition.
Speaking about the World Expo 2010 "Better City, Better
Life" in Shanghai, R. Harutyunian said that Armenia would
present an impressive display entitled "Thought and Time", with
the concept "The City of the World" to be dispalyed as its part.
"The Chinese side has already pointed out our concept as
interesting, and Armenia is the only country to have received an
opportunity to constantly change its pavilion," R. Harutyunian
stated.
