On February 7, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met Foreign Minister of Qatar Khalid bin Mohammad Al Attiyah in Munich.

During the meeting, steps to develop bilateral relations, activation of business ties, formation of legal framework, holding of the first session of inter-governmental committee, holding of consultations between Ministries of Foreign Affairs, collaboration within international structures were touched upon.

Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Qatar attached importance to the establishment of air-traffic route between Doha and Yerevan, which would contribute to the development of business ties.

Ministers agreed upon undertaking efficient steps to give a new impetus to the cooperation.
