YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 16, NOYAN TAPAN. Eva Rivas with the song Apricot Stone will represent Armenia at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. This was announced at the "Eurovision 2010" Armenian concert-contest held on February 14 at Alexander Spendiarian Opera and Ballet Theatre. Eva Rivas was born in the Russian city of Rostov to an Armenian family. She has participated in a number of Russian music contests and won prizes. Apricot Stone was written by the RA honoured worker of art, composer Armen Martirosian, poet Karen Kavalerian (lyrics), and Ara Torosian (instrumentation). Eva Rivas will perform in the 2010 Eurovision Semi-Final to be held in Oslo on May 27.
