In the frames of the working visit to the Republic of Armenia the President of the Republic of Lithuania Ms. Dalia Grybauskaitė visited also Yerevan Brandy Company. According to the visit program the delegation headed by the President Dalia Grybauskaitė visited the Ageing Cellar of Yerevan Brandy Company, where she was be introduced to the richest history and production facilities of the Armenian brandy Ararat. The President stops at the Peace Barrel, founded in 2001 in honor of the co-chairs of the Minsk Group of OSCE, visited factory in 2001. The barrel is called “Peace” as it will be opened when Karabakh conflict is resolved. Ms. Dalia Grybauskaitė also signed in Ararat memory book. As a part of tradition the management of the Yerevan Brandy Company presents Ms. Grybauskaitė with a 400L barrel full of brandy spirit. She is the 20th President who has personal barrel in Yerevan Brandy Company. Here is also kept the personal barrels of the previous presidents of Lithuania - Mr. Valdas Adamkus and Mr. Rolandas Paksas. The Management of Yerevan Brandy Company also presented the President of the Republic of Lithuania with a bottle of specially blended brandy Ararat. It is worth to mention that the Yerevan Brandy Company being the exclusive producer of Ararat brandies exports more than 100 000 L of brandy to the Baltic States.
