First Lady Michelle Obama embarks today on a weeklong trip to Africa to spread goodwill. The aim of the visit, which will take her to South Africa and Botswana, is to engage with young people--especially girls and women--who play prominent roles in academic life and civic leadership, while also furthering awareness on health and wellness issues.
