FIFA 2018: Armenia suffers defeat in first qualifier

Armenian national football team lost to Denmark team in first qualifying round of World Cup 2018 Championship.
At the 18th minute of the match Danish footballer Christian Eriksen (midfielder for English club Tottenham) scored the first goal of the match.
At the 71 minute the referee appointed a penalty kick against Armenian team, however Armenian goalkeeper Arsen Beglaryan succeeded in kicking the ball off. Later, Armenian team possessed a huge chance to restore balance, yet Marcos Pizzelli failed to handle the favorable situation. The match ended with the score 1:0.
It is worth mentioning, that on August 31 Armenia lost to the Czech Republic 3-0 in a warm-up game. Ladislav Krejci netted four minutes into the game, Vaclav Kadlec doubled the lead 30 minutes later and Jan Kopic finished the scoring three minutes from time.
Armenian national football leader Henrikh Mkhitaryan was forced off in the first half.
The upcoming match Armenia-Romania is scheduled on October 8th, in Yerevan.
