Defense Ministry of Nagorno-Karabakh issued a statement regarding the recent incident on the contact line between the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan. "The recent offensive actions of the Azerbaijani armed forces along the contact line, carried out by sniper weapons, once again prove that official Baku fails to meet arrangements on maintaining ceasefire regime reached during talks held in different international levels. Moreover, their aggressive actions have become more impudent and shameless. Starting from Thursday Azerbaijani armed forces, mainly snipers, concentrated fire on NKR positions killing one Armenian serviceman Vazgen Bakhshyan. The firing continued on Friday and as a result two Armenian soldiers were killed and another was injured. NKR MOD expresses condolences to relatives of the killed servicemen," reads the statement.
