Mher Sahakyan Speaks on Strategy of Russia’s Return to Global Big Policy at the University of Oxford

Oxford, The United Kingdom—On May 25-26, 2017, the Clashing Visions:  Russian Foreign Policy in the Age of Xi and Trump conference was held at St. Antony’s College, University of Oxford. Selected scholars from different countries were invited to introduce their research. Armenian researcher, and IPSA member, Mher Sahakyan was among them. He presented his research on Russia’s Return to Global Big Policy. 
 
 Mher gave a detailed analysis of Russia’s growing role in the changing World Order. The presentation was followed by a discussion on both the topic of research and the methods used by the speaker. This prestigious academic conference was funded by the St. Antony’s College Antonian Fund, Russian and Eastern European Studies at the University of Oxford, and the Carnegie Corporation of New York under the auspices of the University Consortium. 
The University of Oxford is one of the top 10 universities in the world. 
Dr. Mher Sahakyan is the Director of "China Eurasia” Council for Political and Strategic Research” Foundation. He completed his PhD in the field of international relations at Nanjing University in China, where he was the first Armenian to earn a doctorate from its School of International Studies. He is also a member of the International Political Science Association.
