GOYANG, NOVEMBER 27, NOYAN TAPAN. Armenian weightlifter Nazik Avdalian (the women's 69 kg class) competed successfully on November 27 at the 2009 World Weightlifting Championships held in the South Korean city of Goyang. She won three gold medals by snatching 119 kg and clean and jerking 147 kg, and with a total result of 266 kg she took first place and became the world champion. Hripsime Khurshudian will compete on November 28.
