Golden Apricot 6th International Film Festival continues in
Artsakh and Djavakhk

YEREVAN, AUGUST 12, NOYAN TAPAN. The Golden Apricot
International Film Festival has begun 3 years before and
continues to realize the Golden Apricot on Wheels program the
goal of which is to present the best films of the festival in
the Armenian regions as well as in Artsakh and Djavakhk.
Director of the festival, producer Harutyun Khachatrian
said at the 11th press conference that the best and prize winner
Armenian and foreign films shown on August 12-16 will also be
shown in Djavakhk. The festival in Djavakhk will launch with
Sergey Parajanov's Color of Pomegranate film as the 40th
anniversary of that great film is marked this year.
Georgian producer Georgi Ovashvili's The Other Bank film
which was awarded the first prize of the Golden Apricot film
festival will also be included in the list of the films to be
shown in Djavakhk. Besides, Armenian and Georgian other films
will also be shown in Akhalkalak. According to H. Khachatrian,
the film-programs of the festival which will take place in
Djavakhk this year are realized in cooperation with Tbilisi
International Film Festival as well as the Georgian National
Film Center.
H. Khachatrian also said that films of the Golden Apricot
Festival will also be shown in Shushi and Stepanakert on August
19-23.
