On September 4, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Garen Nazarian received the delegation headed by Janina Robberse, the General Director of the Repatriation and Departure Service of the Ministry of Justice and Security of the Kingdom of Netherlands.
During the meeting the sides highly appreciated the effective cooperation between the two countries in readmission area, touched upon the ongoing projects that are implemented in Armenia within the framework of the Armenia-EU high level Mobility partnership, as well as discussed further priorities. Both sides highlighted the experience of successful projects in several areas, particular in the fields of reintegration of returning Armenian citizens and migration.
The interlocutors also touched upon the implementation of the Readmission Agreement with the Benelux states, which is aimed at creating favourable conditions and facilitating the full reintegration of Armenian nationals taking into account socio-economic and other aspects of the process.
In the course of the meeting Deputy Foreign Minister highlighted the importance of a possible launch of a visa liberalization dialogue with the EU, which is reflected in the bilateral documents between Armenia and the EU as well as its member states, and in multilateral documents of Eastern Partnership.
