A magnitude 5.5 earthquake has struck just South of Panama at a depth of 19 km (11.2 miles) yesterday. According to the "Ria Novosti" the epicenter was 135 km (83 miles) South of David, Panama. No tsunami watch, warning or advisory is in effect. No reports of Damage as yet.
