YEREVAN, JUNE 2, NOYAN TAPAN. Norayr Yeghiazarian, a member of Yerevan polling station commission N 05 of electoral district N 8, and Armen Ohanian, a voter of the same polling station, were arrested on June 1 under the criminal case examined by the RA Special Investigation Service in connection with violations recorded in the May 31 Yerevan Council of Elders elections. According to the report of the RA Special Investigation Service, they are suspected of rigging the election results. A criminal case was filed on June 1 on the basis of publications of May 31 in media, in particular, on the A1+, Hetk, Lragir websites on violations and riggings at polling stations N 01, 05, 08, 09, 21, 24, by the signs of Article 150, RA Criminal Code, the preliminary investigation of which is carried out by the RA Special Investigation Service.
