The World Weightlifting Championship will be held between November 17 to 27 in South Korea. Though there are still 5 months until the championship, Armenia's weightlifting national team started preparing for it from June 15. The teaching and training gathering that will finish on June 25 proceeds in Tsakhkadzor. 15 weightlifters train headed by 4 coaches. RA Weightlifting Federation Secretary General Pashik Alaverdian told Noyan Tapan correspondent that gatherings and trainings will be permanent. He expressed the hope that Armenian sportsmen will perform successfully in Korea and will continue the best traditions of Armenian weightlifting.
