Yerevan, May 17, Noyan Tapan, The newly appointed Ambassador of Indonesia to Armenia Ms. Nining Suningsih Rochadiat (residence in Kiev) presented her credentials to Armenia's President Serzh Sargsyan. Congratulating the Ambassador on her mission, the President of Armenia expressed hope that she will contribute considerably to the development of the bilateral relations in different fields. Armenia attaches great importance to deepening of relations with the South Asian countries and particularly with Indonesia which plays a significant role in the region, President Sargsyan said. Officials mentioned that the trade turnover between the two countries is increasing year by year. As officials emphasized, in order to promote bilateral business relations it is necessary to intensify information sharing and active communications. The parties spoke also about some regional developments, noted the importance of cooperation in the framework of international organizations, and exchanged views on the global financial and economic crisis and its consequences.
