VILNIUS, APRIL 2, NOYAN TAPAN. The European freestyle Wrestling Championship finished on April 1 in Vilnius. Artur Arakelian (60kg, Yerevan), Suren Markosian (74 kg, Garni), and Edgar Yenokian (96 kg, Yerevan) performed from Armenia on the last day of the championship. Only E. Yenokian managed to take the third place and to become a bronze medal winner. Thus, the Armenian freestyle wrestling national team won 1 silver and 2 bronze medals in the European Championship. Greco-Roman wrestlers will compete on April 4 in Vilnius for European Championship medals. The Armenian sportsmen will perform in all seven weight categories.
