Robert Fallerta, General Director of the Deno Gold Mining company CJSC, former Kapan ore processing enterprise, announced at the press-conference called on March 30, that the enterprise would start operating April 1. 950 -1000 employees will be occupied at the enterprise instead of previous 1200. The company will produce copper and zinc concentrates, and zinc concentrate will be temporarily reserved, while copper concentrate will be sold. "Mass lockouts are not anticipated, there will be no change in salaries, new work contracts will be signed with employees," told R.Fallerta. Significant work had been done during the forced outage. New air-conditioning and lighting systems had been installed, new technologies for further exploitation have been developed at the factory and mine. According to Fallerta, implementation of social programs in the region of Kapan will be continued.
