YEREVAN, MARCH 11, NOYAN TAPAN. In February 2009, the RA ministry of finance warned organizers of 10 prize games and one casino. The ministry also recorded a violation forming a basis for suspension of the licence for organization of one prize game. Fines of a total of 1.2 million drams were imposed on organizers of prize games in the same period. State duties of 85 million drams were collected in the order envisaged by law from this sector in January-February 2009, including duties of 60 million drams for prize games and duties of 25 million drams for casinos. According to a press release of the Information and PR Unit of RA Ministry of Finance, as of March 1, there were valid licences for organization of 119 prize games, 14 casinos and 4 lotteries in Armenia.
