According to Wikileaks’s new published documents, the debates on the recognition of the Armenian Genocide in the USA Congress will have international consequences. It is noted that in the message addressed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USA from Turkey on January 26, 2011 is said, “Every attempt of qualifying the events of 1915 as “genocide” will cause political storm in Turkey and the influence will be destructive. In another secret message on October 13, 2009 is noted that Turkey applied to Israel, asking it to help to prevent the recognition of the resolution of the Armenian Genocide in the USA Congress. According to “Asbarez”, “Wikileaks” other announcement states that the cooperation of Turkish military and reconnaissance structures with American military structures has temporarily slowed in answer to the discussion of the Armenian Genocide issue by the Congress.
