YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 19, NOYAN TAPAN. MAP company (Armavir
marz) has produced 3.5 million bottles of brandy and a million
bottles of wines since early 2008. NT correspondent was informed
by the CEO of the company Makar Petrosian that this year 80% of
MAP's production was exported to more than ten countries, mainly
to Russia.

year by year. Sales of MAP wines and brandies in the domestic
market increase by 20% annually, while their exports grow by
50-60%.
This year the company purchased 12 thousand tons of grapes
from farms, which is more by 10% as compared with 2007.
MAP currently produces wines of 21 types, including
Tigrani, Saperavi, Nerkeni, as well brandies of 10 types (aged
for 3-40 years) such as Arame, Mashtots, Paruyr Sevak, Makar and
others. MAP also manufactures tinned goods mainly sold in the
domestic market.
