"I swear in the name of the Holy, Consubstantial, and Indivisible Trinity to uphold the Constitution and laws, ensure their conscientious observance, defend national independence and territorial integrity, protect the rights and freedom of Greeks, and serve the common good and prosperity of the Greek people."

To the Orthodox citizens of Greece, Greeks around the world, and Philhellenes (friends of Greece)

The Greek community of Armenia, «Patrida», wholeheartedly congratulates you on the great celebration of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos and Greek Independence Day! Two sacred days filled with good hope and bright faith! We wish that the life of every Greek and their loyal friends be full of good news, happiness, sincere emotions, and true love.
Our Homeland—a country with a history spanning several millennia, an open-air museum preserving invaluable monuments, unique nature, and a rich spiritual heritage. On this day, each of us feels like a part of Great Greece. In the difficult periods of our history, we were saved by the strength of spirit, unity, and friendship. We have always stood together in our aspiration to make our country independent, strong, and prosperous. Greece takes pride in its past and confidently looks toward the future. May each of our days be filled with pride for the Greek people and our sacred land! From the bottom of our hearts, we wish for peace, goodness, health, and well-being.
Today, more than ever, it is crucial to remember: a strong and independent country will not allow foreign rules to be imposed upon it. Greece draws its power from its centuries-old history, culture, spirituality, and the great achievements of its sons—writers and poets, composers and artists, scientists and military leaders. Its strength lies in the daily labor of millions of Greeks around the world, building a worthy future. No one has the right to dictate to us whom to befriend or how to build our lives.
We honor our great past, overcome present challenges, and look to tomorrow with confidence. This festive day holds a special place in our country’s history. It symbolizes commitment to the values of freedom and democracy and the aspiration for the continued prosperity of our Homeland. This celebration reminds us of the continuity of generations and the responsibility of every Greek for the future of their country. May it strengthen our confidence in tomorrow, become a symbol of the well-being of our children and grandchildren, and inspire us to move forward toward great goals.
More than two hundred years ago, events took place that laid the foundation of modern Greece. Driven by the thirst for freedom, the entire nation united in the struggle for its land’s independence—and achieved victory. Today, it is especially important to maintain unity, patience, faith in God, and hope for a bright future!
With all our hearts, we congratulate you on this great holiday! Wishing you and your loved ones good health, success, and prosperity!
