ETCHMIADZIN, SEPTEMBER 16, NOYAN TAPAN. Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II on September 14 received a delegation of famous Russian writers, literary critics, editors and journalists who came to Armenia within the framework of the event Days of Russian Speech in Armenia. The delegation was headed by the chairman of the Russian Society of Friendship and Cooperation with Armenia Victor Krivopuskov and accompanied by Zori Balayan. During the meeting His Holiness gave his Patriarchal blessing to the organizers of the initiative "Days of Russian Speech in Armenia", underlining the significance of holding such events for strengthening the friendship of the Armenian and Russian peoples. At the conclusion of the meeting V. Krivopuskov on behalf of the Russian Society of Friendship and Cooperation with Armenia handed a Valery Bryusov order to Karekin II for his considerable contribution to the development of Russian-Armenian humanitarian and cultural links.
