Levon Aronian (Armenia) drew the game with Vasily Ivanchuk (the Ukriane). Viswanathan Anand (India) and Veselin Topalov (Bulgaria), Temur Rajabov (Azerbaijan) and Magnus Carlsen (Norway) drew their games. V. Topalov is at the top of the tournament table with 14 points one round before the end of the tournament. L. Aronian has 13 points. M. Carlsen and V. Ivanchuk have gained 12 points each, V. Anand and T. Rajabov 7 points each. L. Aronian will compete with T. Rajabov in the last, 10th round.
