Today, many argue and speculate about whether Azerbaijan used the territory of Artsakh (Karabakh) for airstrikes on Iran.

The famous Armenian figure Sarkis Hatspanyan, graduated from the Sorbonne University and died in 2018. In his 2015 lecture, he cited information about a meeting he had with an Israeli citizen in Artsakh, whom Hatspanyan had known since his studies at the Sorbonne.

This Israeli citizen was conducting geological survey work in the very places where military airfields were later built.

This acquaintance told Hatspanyan that Artsakh is not Armenia, not Azerbaijan, and not Russia; that soon Artsakh will become Israel.

In this regard, questions arise for the authorities. Why did the Artsakh authorities allow an Israeli citizen to do such work? Why did the Armenian authorities not react to this and not inform (their allies at the time), Russia and Iran, about such an important geopolitical circumstance?
