YEREVAN, JUNE 24, NOYAN TAPAN. The starting game of the Intertoto Cup 2008 Tournament between Mika Armenia and Tiraspol Moldova took place in the Mika newly-built sports ground of Yerevan on June 21. The game ended in a draw: 2:2. The second leg is scheduled for June 28 in Toraspol. It should also be mentioned that UEFA has decided to liquidate the Intertoto Cup Tournament and it is being held for the last time this year. Instead, one place will be given to each of the football national federations in the Champions League Tournament.
