On 29 March President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan received delegation of the State Engineering University of Armenia headed by vice-chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, chairman of the university’s governing board Samvel Nikoyan. Issues related to cooperation between the two Armenian states in the sphere of higher education were discussed during the meeting. Bako Sahakyan rated high the role of the State Engineering University of Armenia both in assisting the development of higher education in Artsakh and in realization of different programs in our republic. The President also noted the importance of strengthening ties between this leading university of Armenia and Artsakh State University considering it among pivotal conditions for developing bilateral cooperation. Vice-chairman of the Artsakh Republic National Assembly Arthur Tovmasyan, minister of education and science Vladik Khachatryan and other officials partook at the meeting.
