NIZHNI NOVGOROD, APRIL 18, NOYAN TAPAN. Mkrtich Mkrtumian (42 kg) and Armen Bareyan (51 kg) - pupils of the Parakar branch of the republican boxing school - represented Armenia at the international youth boxing competitions held in Russian city of Nizhni Novgorod with the participation of boxers from CIS countries. A. Bareyan compteted successfully: he registered 3 wins and became the champion. M. Mkrtumian failed to win a medal. The participation of Armenian boxers in the competitions was sponsored by Ruben Harutyunian, director of Musaler publishing house, and Remik Vardanian, a resident of Nizhni Novgorod.
