Company GPM GOLD Continues to Implement Programs of Technical Reequipment

Company GeoProMining Gold proceeded to the next phase of the program on technical re-equipment. Under the program, at the beginning of this year, the Company acquired five Belaz dump-trucks of 45 tons capacity, as well as wheel-loader Caterpillar RH-988. Thus, recently 2 dump-trucks arrived in the Republic that are already in operation at Sotk mine of GPM Gold. Getting three dump-trucks and wheel loaders is also expected in coming months. Purchase of mining equipment is an integral part of the investment program of modernization, the beginning of which was in 2010. The program involves capital investments in technical re-equipment of the mine, aimed at implementing a set of measures to improve the technical and economic level of production through introduction of advanced equipment and technology, mechanization and automation of production, modernization and replacement of outdated and physically worn-out equipment with new, more productive machines, as well as improve infrastructure and support services divisions. * * * * * Company GPM GOLD, operating Sotk gold mine and Ararat Gold Recovery Company is part of the Russian group of companies GeoProMining. The company is in the process of implementing the investment program to modernize the company, planned for the 2010-2013 years. GeoProMining acquired 100% shares of Sterlite Gold Ltd from International Company Vedanta Resources in September 2007. Sterlite Gold Ltd was the sole owner of AGRC (Ararat Gold Recovery Company). AGRC is now renamed to GPM GOLD.
